B. J. Deppe has more than 40 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, healthcare law and municipal law.
Born in Indianapolis and raised in Franklin, he was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1971 and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; and the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1971 and completed his undergraduate degree at DePauw University.
B. J. was a former Johnson County (Indiana) Deputy Prosecutor. He is a member and Past President of the Johnson County Bar Association and Past Chairman of the Indiana Society of Hospital Attorneys. He also belongs to the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
He serves on the Franklin Redevelopment Commission and is a board member of the Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
