Ellen Fredbeck-Ramírez was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2016 and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana.
She handles a variety of legal issues including estate planning with wills and trusts, elder law (Medicaid/long-term care planning and guardianships), estate and trust administration, land use and real estate matters, and small business matters. She also advises various local governmental entities and non-profit corporations.
Ellen was born and raised in Franklin, Indiana. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law where she was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation and participated in the Nonprofit Legal Clinic. While in law school she worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General and volunteered for the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic in Indianapolis. Ellen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado. She also spent a semester studying at the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain.
Volunteering is important to Ellen. Along with pro bono work, she has served with community organizations such as the United Way of Johnson County and the Johnson County Public Library.
